About Outback Builders
Sam Glasgow is proud to be the third generation of leadership for The Outback Builder. Since he was no taller than a doorknob, he has been on the job site with his father learning the family construction business. He has gathered knowledge from more than 70 years of combined construction experience from his papaw and father. It was inevitable that one day he would join the family business and eventually take over the reins to continue providing exceptional service and quality, custom-built garages for generations to come.
Stan and Mary Jo Glasgow founded The Outback Builder in 1992, combining Stan’s experience as a home builder and developer with Mary Jo’s accounting and managerial expertise, gained as secretary to the one and only Colonel Sanders of KFC. Together, they built the company with their family at the heart of every project. In 2011, their son Vince Glasgow became president, managing daily operations until his passing in 2021. Sam Glasgow, who grew up on the job site, took over as president in 2021 and is continuing the family legacy of delivering high-quality, custom-built garages.
Three Generations of Leadership
Stan Glasgow
(1939-2025)
Apprenticed in his father’s cabinet shop from the time he was 12 years old, Stan Glasgow has been in the building business for more than 60 years. Since opening shop in 1992, Stan and The Outback Builder have become synonymous with quality, custom built garages.
Vince Glasgow
(1971-2021)
Like his father before him, Vince Glasgow was taught the construction business by his father Stan. Entering the company as a $7.00 an hour onsite laborer, he quickly learned the hands on aspects of construction. With his father Stan’s knowledge and his own hands on experience, Vince earned the position of company President. Vince made it his mission to continue the tradition of offering quality custom built garages at affordable prices and providing customers with financing options to fit their budget.
Sam Glasgow

Sam stepped into the role of president after his father Vince Glasgow passed away in 2021.
